• Girls Summer Bible Study on the Women in the Bible starting on June 30 at 5 PM at Lydia’s house! Let Jane know if you are coming, and there is a sign-up to bring food.
• Attention to those attending the University of Alberta. We are getting new Chaplains!
  • On June 27, 6:30 PM at YEG Supper Club, there is a chance to meet Susan and Joshua, who are coming back to Edmonton from UBC! One of their hopes is to develop relationships and support for student leaders in our community by creating a Student Leadership Team. There’s no commitment yet! They just want to meet students from our church and get to know us! If you want to go, let Lydia know!
• We are proud to announce the Illumination Station VBS Day Camp in August. where kids will discover that Jesus is the Light of the World. Camp Dates: August 4–7 and August 10–14, 2026.

Announcement From The Church Council

• The Church Council proposes to accept the recommendation of the Human Resources Board to appoint Pastor Ryan of the English Congregation as a permanent full-time pastoral staff member of Edmonton Chinese Baptist Church. This recommendation will be presented for a vote at the Special Membership Meeting on July 12. Brothers and sisters are encouraged to pray for this matter and to reserve time to attend the meeting. Registration will begin at 12:45 p.m., and the meeting will commence at 1:00 p.m.
