English Congregation Announcement

• If you wish to support our youth in attending SYC 2026, please send an E-transfer to finance@ecbchurch.org and include “SYC” in the notes so the funds go to the right place. In addition, all bottles collected during the March bottle drive are dedicated to the SYC effort.

• Save the Date: The Summer Youth Celebration (SYC) will be held from July 19 to 25, 2026. The theme for 2026 is “Live Ready. Live Sent.” Camp details and registration will be available soon. Stay tuned!
• Overflowing Alberta 2026: Join the CNBC for a women’s conference that inspires women to share the love of Jesus! The theme is “Live Sent,” and it takes place at Legacy Place Home Church in Red Deer on Saturday, April 18th. • Join us for our Easter Joint Service in the sanctuary on Sunday, April 5, at 10:00 am. There will be a baptismal ceremony for some of our brothers and sisters, too! So be we encourage you to mark your calendars. There will also be a delightful potluck lunch following the service, so be sure to bring something to share!

Announcement from The Church Council

• A Special Membership Meeting is scheduled for March 29, 2025. This is an in-person meeting, and there are three voting items listed:
  • We propose accepting the new members of the Nomination Committee for 2026: Church Council representatives, Danny Szeto, and Mai Ling Tam. Church member representatives: Eno Wong, Christ Or, and Ivy Fong.
  • We propose accepting the Nomination Committee’s recommendation to appoint Gary Chan as a member of the Human Resources Board, with a term from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. 
  • We propose accepting the 2025 Church Financial Statement. 

Announcement from The Mission Committee

• We’d love for you to join us in our Easter food bank donation! If you’re able to help out, please drop your donations in the collection box before April 6th. We’re accepting items like canned food, pasta, snacks, and other non-perishable goodies. Just a quick reminder: we can’t accept fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, or other perishable items.
