- Special Note: Sidewalk Construction work outside our church will continue in the month of November 2016.
- The Church Council had decided to cancel the Special Membership Meeting for November. Our next schedule meeting will be December 4th 2016.
- We are collecting shoe boxes for “Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child” next Sunday (November 6th). Each shoe box is an opportunity to show God’s love to a child — so pack one today! Here are 2 ways to donate:
- Grab a shoe box and fill it with a well-balanced variety of items: school supplies, hygiene items, toys and other gifts (click here for more details). Please also include a minimum of $7.00 donation to help cover the costs of shipping and other project-related costs.
- Donate $25.00 and we’ll pack a shoe box on your behalf. The registration desk is located at the reception area of the sanctuary.
- Daylight Saving Time Ends ends on November 6th at approximately 2:00am. Please be sure to set the clock backward for 1 hour on Saturday evening!
- ECBC Nomination Committee will be approaching candidates to be nominated for 2017 Church Councillors including one from the English Congregation. The English Councillor is a bridge between the English congregation and the rest of the church. Please pray that God will raise a faithful servant who would obediently take the call.
- The Edmonton Foodbank is in desperate need of volunteers. If you have been trained and have time to spare, please go to their website and sign up for a shift. www.edmontonsfoodbank.com
