English Congregation Announcement

• Reminder: Daylight Saving Time ends on the morning of November 2nd (at 2:00 a.m.), and clocks are turned back one hour.
• Our Office Administrator, Mr. Leung, will be on holiday from October 31st to November 23rd. Eno Wong will step in and help with administrative tasks during this time.
• Please keep the 2026 Nomination Committee in your prayers. There are several positions that need to be filled, including:
  • Cantonese Congregation Representative
  • English Congregation Representative
  • Facility Committee Councillor
  • Human Resources Member
  • Membership Committee Member
  • Mission Committee Member
  • Trustee Board Member (second member)
• If you have a calling and wish to join the 2026 Church leadership team listed above, please speak to Council Chairperson Steven Ma.
• The Bottle Drive is next Sunday! Please bring your bottles to the gym’s south door. The funds raised will be used towards mission-related activities; ask Lydia!

• A Special Membership Meeting is scheduled for November 30th, 2025. This is an in-person meeting, and there is one  voting item listed:
  • The Church Council proposes to accept the Nomination Committee’s recommendation to appoint the following candidates to be the 2026 Church Council members:
    • Council Chairperson: Steven Ma
    • Mandarin Congregation: Stephan Fan
      
    • Children Ministry: Miao Ling Tam
    • Finance Committee: Daniel Lee
    • Facility Committee Member: Danny Szeto
    • Trustee Board Member: Kam Chan
