English Congregation Announcement

• Church membership has voted and passed the recommendation from the Church Council, Human Resources Board, and Pastoral Search Committee to extend Ryan the position of English Congregational Pastor. Once accepted, Ryan will become the English Congregational Pastor starting on August 1st, 2023.
• Prayer Halo Time this Wednesday will be in-person only. For more information, please contact Gary or Ryan.

• Prayer item, Short-term Mission: Please continue to remember our short-term mission trip team to Costa Rica from August 17th to 28th. Their goal is to cooperate with the local Chinese church in support of mission works in several cities in Costa Rica.

Announcement from The Cantonese COngregation

• On Sunday, September 3rd, our worship service will take place at Angelas’ Valley Retreat Center at 11:00 am. There will be a tour bus to pick you up at church to the place of worship on that day, free of charge. We are going to host an outdoor barbecue lunch after worship, and the lunch fee is $15 per person. If you are unable to participate in the in-person worship, an online worship link will be provided in advance.

• If you are interested in getting a white VBS t-shirt or providing financial support for this year’s VBS, please contact Sarah Li or any of the children’s ministry servant leaders by today. Much like in previous years, this VBS-themed t-shirt was designed by Aaron Szeto.

• Are you looking for a meaningful summer? You can serve the Lord, develop your gifts, and be part of our life-changing program. We need many adult volunteers as teachers and prayer warriors to successfully run “Twists & Turns” VBS. Youths who completed Grade 7 to 12 are welcome to volunteer and participate in Youth Internship Program under an instructor from Aug. 8-19.
