• We are hosting a summer outdoor event called “Awesome God” on July 8th, 2023 (Saturday) from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Please invite your friends and family to enjoy some great live gospel music and food at Queen Mary Park behind our church.

• Prayer Halo Time is on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm on Discord. please come and join us in fellowship and prayer.

• Prayer item, Short-term Mission: Please continue to remember our short-term mission trip team to Costa Rica from August 17th to 28th. Their goal is to cooperate with the local Chinese church in support of mission works in several cities in Costa Rica.

Announcement from The Children’s Ministry

• If you are interested in getting a white VBS t-shirt or providing financial support for this year’s VBS, please contact Sarah Li or any of the children’s ministry servant leaders before July 16. Much like in previous years, this VBS-themed t-shirt was designed by Aaron Szeto.

• Are you looking for a meaningful summer? You can serve the Lord, develop your gifts, and be part of our life-changing program. We need many adult volunteers as teachers and prayer warriors to successfully run “Twists & Turns” VBS. Youths who completed Grade 7 to 12 are welcome to volunteer and participate in Youth Internship Program under an instructor from Aug. 8-19. Announcement from The Church Council

• The Church Council has accepted the recommendation from the Pastoral Search Committee to propose an offer to Ryan Chau for the Full-time English Congregational Pastor position. A Special Membership Meeting will take place on July 9th with regard to such a proposal for voting. We invite all church members to remember this voting item in their prayers.
• The Church Council has accepted the recommendation from the Human Resources Board that based on his education and experience, ECBC will offer Ryan Chau as the Full-time English Congregation Pastor, if he successfully passed the voting at the Special Membership Meeting, to Step 1 of Assistant Pastor Salary Table.
