• The Edmonton Foodbank is constantly seeking hygiene products such as diapers, wipes, shampoo, conditioner, soap, diaper cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving razors, shaving cream, hand soap, dish soap, new underwear, and socks. Your support is greatly appreciated in making a positive impact in someone’s life and demonstrating God’s love through our actions.

Children Ministry Announcement

• We are excited to present the “Breaker Rock Beach” Summer VBS Day Camp for ages 4 and up, from Aug 6-9 and 12-17, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The registration fee is $285 on or before May 31st, 2024.

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE Cantonese Congregation

• Join us for a trail walk at Whitemud Park on Saturday, June 1st. We will meet at the ECBC parking lot at 10:00 am. Light snacks and water will be provided for your convenience. To register, please contact Sarah Li in the foyer area after worship. If you need a ride, Sarah can also arrange that for you.

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE CHURCH COUNCIL

• The following Special Membership Meeting is scheduled for May 26th after the worship service. There is (so far) 3 voting items:
  • The Church Council proposes to accept the formation of the 2025 Nomination Committee with the following members:
    • Council Representatives: Auden Wang, Miao Ling Tan.
    • Member Representatives: Eno Wang, Cindy Ng, Teresa Chen.
  • The Church Council proposes to accept the 2023 Church Financial Statement. (Questions about the Financial Statement can be done at the library today at 1:30 pm)
  • The Church Council proposes to accept the Mission Committee’s recommendation to allocate the funds collected from this year’s Highway Cleanup and Bottle Drive toward the August 31 Community Outreach activity, specifically the Block Party.
